Welcome to TableBookingHub. By using our website and services you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TableBookingHub website, platform and related services (the “Service”) operated by [Insert company name] (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Definitions

2.1 “User” – Anyone who accesses or uses the Service.

2.2 “Customer” – A user who makes or manages restaurant reservations through the Service (e.g. diners, guests).

2.3 “Restaurant” – A business (venue, restaurant, bar, etc.) that lists on the platform and accepts reservations through the Service.

2.4 “Booking” – A reservation made by a Customer for a table or service at a Restaurant via the Service.

2.5 “Content” – Any text, images, data or other material submitted or displayed on the Service.

3. Use of the Service

3.1 The Service allows Customers to search for Restaurants, view availability and make Bookings. It also allows Restaurants to manage their listing, availability and Bookings.

3.2 You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to create an account or make a Booking. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3.3 You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, making a Booking or otherwise using the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity under your account.

3.4 You may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not use the Service in any way that could harm, overload or impair the Service or other users.

4. Bookings and Reservations

4.1 Making a Booking
When you make a Booking, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Restaurant for the reservation. TableBookingHub acts as an intermediary and is not a party to that agreement.

4.2 Confirmation
A Booking is only confirmed when you receive a confirmation (e.g. by email or in your account). Restaurants may still need to approve or reject a Booking according to their own policies.

4.3 Cancellations and no-shows
Cancellation and no-show rules are set by each Restaurant and may include fees or restrictions. You are responsible for reading and complying with the Restaurant’s cancellation policy before confirming a Booking. We recommend cancelling or amending Bookings through the Service or by contacting the Restaurant in good time.

4.4 Restaurant responsibility
Restaurants are solely responsible for the quality of food, drink, service, hygiene, safety and compliance with applicable laws. We do not guarantee any particular standard and are not liable for the Restaurant’s acts or omissions.

5. Restaurant Listings and Accounts

5.1 Restaurants that register and list on the Service must provide accurate information about their business, opening hours, capacity and any booking conditions.

5.2 Restaurants are responsible for keeping their availability and information up to date and for honouring confirmed Bookings in line with their stated policies.

5.3 We may suspend or remove a Restaurant’s listing or account if we reasonably believe they have breached these Terms, misled users or engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct.

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Use of the Service by Customers to search and make Bookings may be free, unless we clearly state otherwise. Any fees for premium features or subscriptions will be shown before you commit.

6.2 Restaurants may be charged subscription, commission or other fees under separate agreement with us. Those terms will be set out in the relevant commercial agreement.

6.3 Where payment is taken through the Service, our payment terms and any third-party payment processor terms apply. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All rights in the Service (including design, software, branding, “TableBookingHub” and related names and logos) belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Service or our branding except as we expressly allow.

7.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use any Content you submit (e.g. reviews, photos) for operating and promoting the Service, in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Privacy

8.1 Our [Privacy Policy] explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data. By using the Service you consent to that processing.

8.2 Restaurants may receive and process Customer data (e.g. name, contact details) only for fulfilling Bookings and in line with applicable data protection law.

9. Prohibited Conduct

9.1 You must not:

  • use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose;
  • impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • harass, abuse or harm other users or Restaurants;
  • scrape, spider or use automated means to access the Service without our permission;
  • attempt to circumvent security, access controls or usage limits;
  • upload viruses or malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service or data from it without our written consent.

9.2 We may suspend or terminate your account and access if we believe you have breached these Terms or for other serious reasons.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the conduct of Users or Restaurants or for the quality of any Restaurant or Booking.

10.2 We do not endorse any Restaurant. Listings and any ratings or reviews reflect the views of users and are not guarantees of quality or accuracy.

10.3 You use the Service at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or from any Booking or visit to a Restaurant, except as required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our directors, employees and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profit, data or goodwill) arising from or in connection with the Service or these Terms.

11.2 Our total liability to you in respect of any claim or series of related claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) [£100 / a sum you specify].

11.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us (and our officers, directors, employees and agents) harmless from any claims, losses, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your Content; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Termination

13.1 You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an account, you may close it through your account settings or by contacting us.

13.2 We may suspend or terminate your access or account without notice if we believe you have breached these Terms or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

13.3 On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity) will remain in effect.

14. General

14.1 Entire agreement
These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies we publish) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in force.

14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

14.5 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales / Scotland / your jurisdiction]. The courts of [that jurisdiction] shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in your country of residence.
